JackInsider Login Help Page
This page offers step-by-step directions for logging into JackInsider. Please read this entire page before e-mailing for help — it will save both of us some time and trouble. (This assumes you have a valid JackInsider membership. If you do but you've lost your login combination, please go here.)
To log into JackInsider:
1. Go to the login page.
2. If you'd like your computer to remember the login combination you're about to enter, click on the box labeled "Remember my login combination." (Note: This feature requires that "cookies" be enabled in your Web browser program. To check, go to your Web browser's preferences and look for "allow cookies" or something similar, and make sure it's turned on.)
3. Enter your Member ID number in the box labeled "Member ID Number." If you don't know your Member ID number (it's probably a 4-digit number), enter your e-mail address in the box labeled "E-Mail Address." But don't enter both — enter only one or the other.
4. Enter your JackInsider password in the box labeled "Password." If you've been a member previously,
don't enter your message-board password here — it may not be the same as your JackInsider password. (If you're unsure about what your JackInsider password is, go here.)
5. Click on the "login" button. You should then be logged into the site.
If you're having trouble logging in, one of the following is probably happening:
1. On the login page, you're filling out more than one of the top 3 fields. Enter only one: either your Member ID number, your e-mail address, or your handle (if you're a returning member and you've previously specified a handle). If you've never successfully logged into JackInsider before, you don't have a handle — leave this field blank.
2. You're entering your password incorrectly. To have your password (and Member ID number) e-mailed to you instantly, go here.
3. You're entering the username and/or password from one of the 3rd-part credit-card processors that we've usd in the past. Enter only your JackInsider login combination. Go here if you're unsure of what that combination is.
4. If you've been a member before and registered for the message boards, you're trying to use your message board login combination to get into JackInsider. These combinations may not be the same. To have your JackInsider login combination e-mailed to you instantly, go here.
5. If you're trying to login with an e-mail address rather than a Member ID number, you may be entering an address that's different from the one we have on your membership record. Please enter a different address.
6. Your membership may be expired or invalid. For answers, please try this page.
If you're sure you've done everything right, and you're sure you have a valid membership, send a message here, and we'll investigate. Please include your JackInsider Member ID number and the password that you're trying to use.
