As an adult male, I'd like to say a few things to those boys and/or young men who struggle and question. As males, masturbation is completely natural and normal. Yes, often "religion" teaches against it; our parents also ignore it. Guys, the fact is that every parent of every boy of a certain age has wondered what was taking him so long in the bathroom. They both know, especially Dad. They probably don't say anything because their son growing up, in the throes of sexual development, and that makes parents uncomfortable. How soon we older people forget. Boys often find themselves attracted to other boys during this time of puberty. Does this feeling make someone immediately homosexual? Absolutely not; and neither is it uncommon among teenage boys. As we grow and our hormones take over on our journey to adult manhood, we can often be infatuated with other boys, teachers, or coaches. During these years, some boys will experiment sexually with other boys. Does that make them gay? No. These years are hormonally charged and trying times – not just sexually, but with regard to asserting one's independence, challenging authority, and trying to be a man. As we go through this, we are "slapped down," because we really aren't men or adults. That is why parents and teachers are there. You guys who question your own sexuality, you need to keep these facts in mind. After you get older, remember this as well: Homosexuality has less to do with sex than it does inherent attraction and love. Remember to maintain your safest maximum speed!
Do you find yourself masturbating more often during some seasons than others? Why?
